Lil red dress

Not sure what the look on her face is all about.
Ms. Kathy sends a pair of shoes with just about every outfit...I love it! :)
I LOVE having a little girl. They are so much fun and fun to dress up too! :) This is the little red dress she wore to church yesterday.

We went to the doctor today on time for Aislynn's appointment. Too bad I was 24 HOURS early! Oops! I guess I'll have to come back tomorrow.

Life without cable

She's got him wrapped around her little finger!

Just thought I'd put a couple more pictures on here today. What can I say, the cable is gone! I don't know if any one else out there has taken the leap or was just smart and didn't get cable in the first place, but the evenings are hard! S. and I turned off the cable just before A. arrived. With the family here it wasn't bad at all. Now that they are gone, we are going crazy! It's much better during the day because our house is actually clean now. :) But when S. comes home at night there's nothing to do. I'm sure we should do something crazy like talk to one another or just hang out as a family, but if anyone has any ideas as to what we can do together, I'm open to suggestions!

Steamin' up the bathroom

A. and I sat in the bathroom with the hot shower going a couple of times to help her breath better. I couldn't resist documenting the moment! :)

Makin' a liar out of me!

We had a few people over for dinner last night. The baby was peacefully sleeping in her swing. One of the guys said, "Wow, she's really quiet. Is she normally?" I told him that she is a great baby and is normally only crying when something is wrong. About 5 minutes later she woke up screaming and was fussy pretty much the rest of the time they were here! And of course he's not going to believe me when I say, "she's not normally like this!" I'm not sure what I ate yesterday, but it didn't really agree with her little tummy I guess.

Growing Fast

Patiently waiting while mom gets dinner ready.

S. keeps asking when she will walk, talk, run, etc. I can't wait for those things either, but I can. I try and enjoy every moment and not rush through them. Just thought I would share a couple recent pictures of our gorgeous little girl! :)

First Plane Ride

The delay doesn't seem to bother either one of these two!

I was ready for anything! I had a bottle with gripe water in it in the seat back in front of me, a pacifier in my pocket, a blanket in my lap and my b.r.a undone ready to nurse! "What have you got for me, kid?"......and there I sat. She slept the entire time. She woke up and nursed right as we were taking off and then again when we landed. There were people that told me they didn't even know there was an infant on the flight! She did great.

Now her mother on the other hand.... The flight was supposed to take of at 6am that Sunday morning. We ended up being delayed until 10am! I called S. and had him come back to get A. and me. I thought we could just go and get some breakfast in N*ashville, forgetting that I had just checked her carseat with all of the luggage! Nuts! We ended up sitting in the airport the whole time in the only restaurant they have outside security. What fun! We did end up making it to Colorado in one piece. My stomach was very upset that whole day and I ended up getting sick in T*arget just after the baby had a little explosion (she blew out of the last diaper that I had for her in C*ostco...the reason for the quick trip to T*arget and she threw up all over the back of my shirt.) Needless to say, I took d*ramamine for the flight back here. I didn't get sick this time. :)

Happy Easter!

What an adorable little girl! Poor thing has been sick since we got home from Colorado. We ended up taking her to the ER on Saturday night because her breathing was getting a little labored. They gave her a breathing treatment with albuterol and told us to let her stay in a steam-filled bathroom at night. We got her all dressed up for church Sunday and she vomited all over her brand new dress. I'm terrible, I just dried it with the hair dryer! She looked cute, but I didn't let anyone get too close for fear they would smell her! We left early from church because her breathing started to get a little rough again. So...I sat in the bathroom with her while her daddy cooked our Easter meal in the kitchen. What a wonderful husband I have!

Too cute!

This was a picture that was taken with Kisti's camera and I just found it on her laptop. This was just before my mom, Kisti, and Maren left our house. The girls had their little matching outfits on. This picture really captured the moment.

God Answers Prayer

On Sunday morning S. turned the house upside down looking for his wallet. He had to go into work at 10am and wanted to work-out before hand. I took the baby out to the truck at about 8:30am and S. started looking for his wallet at that time. We ended up pulling out of the driveway at around 9:45am without his wallet. I got him on post and rushed home to get myself and the baby ready for church. I picked S. up from work and brought him home. He had already looked all over the house in the morning, but decided to keep looking. He even looked in my sock container under the bed with a lid on it! I also noticed that the trivial pursuit box under the TV had been opened and looked through as well. As I left that night for church again without S, too angry to be around people, I started to pray. I knew that wallet was not anywhere in the house and the last place he remembered having it was at the movie store the night before. He swore that the checker stole it! Well, I prayed that someone would find the wallet and bring it back to him untouched. Sure enough, just after I left S. said that a farmer from down the road found his wallet in the street over a mile from our house and brought it back to S.. He told S, "you can g'head and open it, ever-thang should be in it." Behold the power of prayer!

What a walk!

A friend from church came over today and we went out on a walk around the neighborhood. We are going to start doing 5k races together. We haven't found any yet, but we just started! ha! Saturday was the first day we walked. There are some mean hills by my house, so we might do those for a week or so just walking and then we will get into the jogging/running part. This is the baby after her long walk. Just zapped all the energy right out of her!

Photo Shoot

As some of you know, S.'s neon is no longer. He wrecked it a month or so ago. He left me without the truck the other day from 6am-10pm! I know if the truck had been in the driveway I wouldn't have gone anywhere, but that's not how it works. A. and I decided to have a little photo shoot.
