Don't leave her here!

I had a homeshow yesterday. The hostess is the wife to one of our deacons at church. Her sister was at the show. I brought A. along with me, because Dana, my host, told me not to worry about a sitter. She was just being passed around the room at I was doing my demonstration and afterwards Emily, Dana's sister, was holding A. Emily's only son around 3 years old walks into the room crying and says that it is time to go home. He just kept repeating through his tears that it was time to go. She said that was a first for him, she kept asking if he had been hurt or was scared of something. He just kept saying that it was time to go home. Emily put the baby down and Hagen ended up going on to play with his cousins. A little while later I gathered my Homemade Gourmet things and took them out to the car and was going to come back in to put the baby in her seat and go. As I was walking down the front steps, I hear Hagen in the window yelling as loudly as his little lungs would allow, "HEY, DON'T FORGET TO TAKE YOUR BABY HOME WITH YOOOOUUUU!!"

Lovin the Cup

Our little girl is getting so big!! I took her for her 4 month appointment yesterday. Unfortunately, she had to get shots. I hate that. The last time she had shots she didn't react too much. This time she was pretty upset. Just when they actually administered the shot. She was very unhappy and it's hard not to just pull the needles out of her little legs, stop everything and comfort her. :( She is a little over 15lbs and 26". She's doing great. I really liked the pediatrician. He seemed very nice and was really understanding. They want to do and ultrasound of her head in a week or so. The measurement went up quite a bit from last time, but he's thinking that she has just hit a growth spurt and her head was the first thing to start growing....if the Dr. were to see Aislynn's father, he might cancel the tests! ha! I'm not worried. I know she's fine.


I sat her on the couch tonight and gave her a cup for the first time. We are having a hard time with her taking a bottle and I would like to leave her with her daddy every-once-in-a-while. I was told that she might take a cup instead of a bottle. I put water in it. She wasn't too sure when the water squirted into her little mouth. She's too cute.

I'm treating her poor little head for cradle cap. My friend Jennifer was nice enough to find a little treatment for her. It's a 3 day process and it should be cleared up by the end of it. Her scalp isn't that bad, but I'm hoping to clear up what little there is.

A.went with us to the fields the other night and watched S. and me play back to back games. I didn't think it would be so cold, so I didn't have a hat with me. She ended up borrowing Walker's hat...Caleb, it's Lightening McQueen, your favorite! hehe I thought she looked funny, so I had to take a shot! She makes that hat look good!

Giving Daddy some much needed support; he needs to hit the batting cages!

Too Cute Not to Share

I was working today on filling Homemade Gourmet orders and I had put A. on the couch and before I got the camera and not AFTER she was putting her head on the b.o.p.p.y, rubbing her face on it, and then looking up at me with this gorgeous smile. I couldn't let that moment go un captured, but I missed the silly part of it with the camera. NUTS!

We JUST brought her home, they grow too fast!
